This new service in Carlisle has been named a "mental health lifeline."

Growing Well is a mental health service who help locals from North Cumbria and Eden to recover from having bad mental health. People who are suffering go to Tebay Services Farmshop and Kitchen "to help out and learn new skills for up to one year".

This is their second site, thanks to donators and companies that have teamed up with the charity in support of their work.

​

They allow people "to rebuild confidence, learn new skills, benefit from peer support and set themselves goals, such as returning to employment or education, or simply gaining confidence and feeling better."

​

They now offer a FREE minibus service to the mental health recovery initiative in order to make it even more accessible to those that they are helping. 

​

This service aims to help 100 people per year.
