STORIES FROM STRANGERS

SOMETHING GOOD FOR THE WORLD

A man on TikTok with the username @Hunterprosper runs an account that aims to show that "We are more alike than we are different."

This account runs many different initiatives:

'Notes to a stranger' in which Hunter goes to someone he does not know, and gives them a note with an inspiring message, for example his most viewed was a message that said "Your life matters, forget anyone that's made you doubt that." He walks away before they read the note and films their reaction, and they are truly heart-warming; you can really see that they needed to hear it

'Notes from a stranger' - In this, he leaves a question on a table in a public place with paper and a pen, and people give their answers. Some of these questions include things like "What's the most painful thing you've been told?" or "What's an act of kindness you'll never forget?" After this he reads out the anonymous notes in the hope that it will show viewers that others go through similar things or have the same feelings and emotions.

'Stories from a stranger' is a series that sees Hunter find a random person, and ask them a question that will draw a story out from them - these range from "Who was your first love and why did you fall in love with them?" to "What's the most pain you've felt that wasn't physical?" These questions draw out such deep stories, that strangers feel comfortable telling, as they know they probably won't ever see him again.

I would massively recommend following this account, as Hunter's aim of showing people how similar we are, and that as people we all have feelings and emotions, was something he has really succeeded in doing.
